I write.
Almost constantly.
Jotting down notes, phrases, words, word pairs on any scrap of paper I have, can scrounge or pirate.
I don't type, though I type faster than I write. My handwriting is atrocious. I write left handed, that only partially explains the level of illegibility that my handwriting has achieved. Mostly my handwriting is so bad because I can not write fast enough to keep up with the thoughts in my head. Typing is not fast enough either. I'd like to tape everything I write but I'd never convert them from audio format to written. Most of the time I write without ever lifting the pen/cil from the paper because it wastes time, causes me to lose my thought. I don't like to leave the paper when I start writing. Worst of all is when the muse strikes and I am not in a position to write. Like when driving. The reason for this is I know that the thought, once gone will be very difficult, if not impossible, to resurrect.
That autobiographical piece of clap trap aside. Every once in a while you start to read a book and are so engrossed by it that when you close the book it's two days later and you have no idea that you finished the book. It's life becomes yours and yours becomes it. You are one entity. Are there websites that have this effect or is there something about the physicality of the book that makes this oneness possible?

I just needed to make this post now and get the words out of my head. Now it's time to do something I hope will be productive.
